Since introduced into Hong Kong in 1996, this artistic form has attracted more and more people to participate, and the pool of audience is expanding at a fast pace. Playback theater welcomes members of the audience to tell their stories on the stage and actors and musicians will improvise with the material provided by the teller. We, members of Living Stories, believe that playback theater opens up a space in which people are equal and they share deep stories and listen to the stories of others with respect. As Jonathan Fox (the founder of Playback Theater ) said, Playback is a creative and caring way to bring out the best in people."
