Mixed Media artists are artists that work with different types of media other than focusing on one particular types. Or lets say they can focus on one media yet their works involve other media as well. Eg. painting, photography, poems, sound, videos, performance, installation...It's pretty much pick and mix or from dictionary.com mixed media means: 1.A technique involving the use of two or more artistic media, such as ink and pastel or painting and collage, that are combined in a single composition. 2.The combined use of media, such as television, radio, print, and the Internet, as for advertising or publicity.
